As a humanist funeral celebrant, I understand that saying goodbye to a loved one is a deeply personal and emotional experience. With nearly ten years of experience and as part of the Humanists UK celebrant training team, I have the skills and experience to craft ceremonies that resonate with those who attend. I believe that a funeral is not just a time for mourning but also an opportunity to remember the good times and the positive impact that the person had on their family, friends, and community. While grief is natural, I find that moments of warmth and gentle humour, where appropriate, can help bring comfort and spark cherished memories.
I work closely with families from our first conversation through to the end of the ceremony. I will take the time to meet with you, listen to your stories, and learn about your loved one. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that reflects their personality, values, and the moments that mattered most. From selecting music and readings to structuring the eulogy, I will offer suggestions while respecting your wishes.
