Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. I’m Amy, a Humanist Ceremonies funeral celebrant, trained and accredited by Humanists UK.
As with all my ceremonies, the funerals I write and deliver provide a meaningful space where friends and family can be personally involved and acknowledge the impact the person had on the world and those around them.
Every ceremony I create and deliver celebrates a life lived. It is the ultimate story to tell - and oh, how I love telling it! Drawing on my experience as a celebrant, I take the time to truly listen to what close family and friends share about the person who has died, and I gently weave their life story together in a kind and supportive way. I make space for contributions, reflection, and togetherness. I don’t shy away from making people laugh and smile - in fact, I embrace it! I want everyone to feel that the funeral is a true and beautiful reflection of the person they are remembering.
Nowadays, there is so much choice in how you organise a loved one’s funeral. Below are some of the ways I can help you create a meaningful send-off:
A crematorium
A burial ground
A venue or place of your choosing (after a direct cremation): family homes and gardens, pubs, fields, care homes, beaches, hills; anywhere you can imagine
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss what I offer and the options available to you. If you are using a funeral director and would like me to be your celebrant, simply tell them - this is something they are very used to.
Amy
