Hi, I'm Victoria
Having to organise a funeral to say goodbye to a loved one is always a sad and often stressful event. If you are looking for a bespoke funeral or memorial ceremony specially written about your loved one to celebrate their life you may need some support, suggestions and guidance.
I will help you join together with family and friends to celebrate your loved one’s life with a ceremony containing music, tributes, life story, symbolic acts, humour and dignity - whatever you want. The focus will be on the person whose life we are celebrating, but it will be for those left behind to help them move on with their on lives keeping precious memories of the one they have lost. I will talk to you and other friends and family and listen to how you would like to celebrate your loved one’s life before I start to write the ceremony. Together we will produce a ceremony that will reflect a unique life and leave you all with memories of a special person.

If you are thinking about your end of life and want to leave details of the type of funeral you would like when your time comes or if you are terminally ill and would like to write all or part of a funeral ceremony for yourself I am happy to work with you or help you prepare the information your next of kin may find useful.

HUMANIST CEREMONIES™ is the network of more than 550 celebrants, trained by national charity Humanists UK to a gold standard to provide memorable and meaningful humanist ceremonies to non-religious people. Operating throughout England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, we deliver authentic, tailor-made and heartfelt ceremonies for life’s key moments. They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.
You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
Humanist funerals
Humanist funerals, memorials and ash ceremonies are a fitting way to honour a unique life with warmth, sensitivity and meaning, but without reference to religion or an afterlife. They put the story of the person who has died at the heart of the ceremony, paying tribute to them and the legacy they leave, and provide an opportunity to bring people together, not just to share sadness but to celebrate a life lived.
