Hello! I am Suzie Thomas, a wedding celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK. I have a background in teaching and school leadership and I am loving my celebrant journey. Working with children and their families has always been my passion and becoming a wedding celebrant is an extension of that. I love working with couples to help them bring their wedding dreams to life. Whilst as a humanist I am not religious, I understand the powerful spiritual feelings that are inspired by the things we love - this might be the outdoors, music, the arts or literature. I appreciate the significance of place, space and people and I am happy to conduct your ceremony wherever you wish that to be. Whether your own back garden, your local pub or park, the top of a hill or a wedding venue - I can be there.
What I offer
I will work closely with you to craft a bespoke wedding ceremony that celebrates your relationship and commitment to each other. Each of my ceremonies is unique, authentic and meaningful and will reflect you, your values and interests. You can incorporate any personal elements you choose, including readings, music, singing, and rituals. I love performing handfastings and will work with you to involve your friends and family if this is something you’d enjoy. I also offer elopements, so if the two of you want to get away and marry in a small, intimate setting, I can help with that too.
