Hey there!
I'm Sue aka Say I Do With Sue
You found me!
I'm delighted for all of us. Your Celebrant search is finally over.
Confident much? Absolutely.
I'm a proud Humanist Celebrant accredited with Humanists UK. Whilst I take my role very seriously, I will bring the energy that works for you and your ceremony, whether that is formal and serious to silly and relaxed and everywhere in between. A wedding isn't something you just plan overnight. I get that. There are so many options and all the decisions to make. You want to make sure you have the right people around you, determined to make your day as special as you are.
Having a Humanist Celebrant means you have your ceremony exactly how you want it to be. I'm all about being totally couple focused and will work with you to make sure you both feel comfortable, confident and excited for your bespoke I Do's. Short of ideas about what you want from your ceremony? I got you. I'm all about the ideas if you need them.
I will probably understand more than you realise how daunting this process is. I went through the same process in 2016, when I married my wife Mary in Tuscany. We were full of excitement and total confidence in our ability to organise everything ourselves. We quickly learnt that it would take a few more excellent people working with us to make it all happen.
Thankfully, we handed most of it over to our wedding planner, who had lots of patience, a great sense of humour and absolute professionalism throughout. We had no idea how much we would need that when we were faced with horrendous weather, falling chandeliers and total power cuts on our wedding day. We were happy we took the time to find the best vendors for our big day. That's what I bring to my clients now. Patience, a great sense of humour and absolute professionalism.
I live in Dromore, County Down , but happy to travel to you all, within reason. My profile photo is my superhero vibe. It tells a bit of a story of who I am these days. It's been a bit of a year for me. I turned 50 (I know right?!) I had a bit of a scary cancer journey. Totally beat it after some major surgery. Then, I lost my furbaby of 14 years, who was the best dog in the world. I'm still smiling through it all though as I know there is always so much to be grateful for!
When I'm not marrying beautiful couples, I'm mostly looking after dogs. Because, you know, dogs are the best creatures ever.
Thank you for considering to Say I Do With Sue.
