Hi there! I’m Rachel, a wedding celebrant based in Manchester and the North West but ready to pack a bag to travel to wherever I’m needed.

I believe that a wedding ceremony should be as unique, inclusive, and vibrant as the people it’s celebrating. Whether it’s sharing your story, delivering heartfelt readings, listening to your favourite tunes, or announcing that all-important “you may now kiss” moment, I’ll make sure it’s authentic, meaningful and memorable to everyone.

And now, a bit about me! I was a secondary school teacher for years, so wrangling a lively bunch is not a problem! I’ll bring calm, warmth, and a touch of humour to your big day. I’m a creative person with a passion for crafting, cooking and sharing good times with my favourite people. I love to travel and am never happier than when my partner and I are off on a jolly in our micro camper.

They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
