The joy of a naming ceremony is that it is entirely bespoke to you and your family. If you've chosen me, I am dedicated to you and to make sure that I create a personalised ceremony to celebrate your little one's arrival. We will work together, pulling on family stories and heritage, your hopes, thoughts and dreams. It will be a reflection of your values and can also include family traditions. I have conducted ceremonies which included tree planting, bubbles blowing, wild flower seed scattering, sand blending, sound baths, singing and presentation of Schultute for a family with German traditions (you're googling that now, aren't you?!). As you will see, you can pretty much have whatever you want!

We chose Mhorag to be our Celebrant for the Naming Ceremonies of both of our children in 2023 and 2024. On both occasions she was incredible to work with... very diligent in the run up to the events, which also included taking the time to get to know us as a family and fed that into our ceremony preparations. Her guidance and delivery on the day was lovely; she was a warm, friendly presence whilst still remaining professional, and her script was in equal parts touching and funny - which was exactly what we wanted. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
