I'm Louise, a Humanist Wedding Celebrant and creator of warm, fun and unforgettable wedding ceremonies. Whether you have a clear vision for your ceremony, or you're not sure where to start, I'll work closely with you to create a unique and personal celebration that truly reflects you as a couple.

Whether you dream of saying your vows on a cliff top, in a stunning hotel, or even in the comfort of your own kitchen, I’m here to make it happen. And guess what? I can legally marry you anywhere in Northern Ireland - how cool is that?

About me:

I live in Belfast (though a Fermanagh woman originally), with my bestest boy and furry friend Bruce, the golden lab. I'm a lover of all things outdoors, bikes, music and a lovely glass (or two) of red wine.

We couldn't recommend Louise enough! She was very patient with us, listened to our vision of our perfect ceremony and adapted to this. During the whole process of shaping the ceremony she showed great organisational skills and always double checked details with us which made us feel at peace. We first met Louise at a wedding fair in Mussenden temple and kept her name as she was so nice and approchable. Marie being French it was important for us to have parts of the ceremony in French. Louise went above and beyond to deliver these parts in French and made sure to include everyone. Thanks again to Louise for her dedication and fantastic personality!

Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect, kicked off by Louise, our celebrant. Louise was such a perfect choice for us. She was so genuinely interested and invested in our love story from the start and brought each piece of what we shared with her in a beautifully connected way.

Our two children were incorporated into our ceremony perfectly, using Louise’s fun and age appropriate ideas. They felt really special.

Our guests were raving about the ceremony. Many had never heard of a humanist celebrant and they came away with the biggest smiles. They said they’d never been to a wedding where they’d learned so much about the bride and grooms love story! It really was all about us.

The love in the room was palpable and that started with Louise, her warmth, sense of humour and her love for love was shining! Thank you Louise, you made our perfect day extra special!

We were so lucky to have Louise as both our celebrant and our friend when we got married at Tully Mill on the 15th of November. From the very beginning, she spent so much time planning with us, making sure every detail was just right and that the ceremony truly reflected us.

On the day, the ceremony was everything we could have hoped for - heartfelt, funny, and completely personal (complete with Pitbull quotes!) Everyone commented on how warm, engaging, and unique it was.

Louise explained the humanist approach beautifully and helped us curate really meaningful moments, like lighting a candle for loved ones who couldn’t be with us and drinking from the quake as a symbol of unity. Every word felt genuine and full of love.

They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
