I think it's pretty likely you're here because you want to get married, if so, huge congratulations!
Planning a wedding is such an exciting time, with endless possibilities to make your day truly yours. The brilliant thing about working with a Humanist celebrant like me is that you have total freedom to shape your ceremony. You can choose exactly what you say, as well as the tone, style, and flow. Everything can be tailored to reflect your dreams and personalities, running at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I love working with people, and over my life I have thrown myself into all sorts of different experiences: from felling trees in a snowy forest as a lumberjack, to starting a roller derby team, acting in a haunted psychiatric hospital, and even selling everything I owned to move to New Zealand for five years. Why am I telling you this? To let you know I am flexible, adaptable and if you are worried that some of your wedding plans are a bit strange or ambitious, I am up for the challenge and ready to help you bring your ideas to life.
I will work with you at whatever pace feels comfortable. I can help you create an entirely bespoke ceremony from a blank page or, if that feels a bit overwhelming, I can share templates and standard ceremony structures so you can pick and choose from tried-and-tested options.
I love all sorts of weddings. So, whether your dream day involves getting married at midnight on a dark moor dressed as vampires on Halloween, filling a pond with silver ducks for an epic game of hook-a-duck to pick your honeymoon destination, or hosting an intimate ceremony for just the two of you with heartfelt vows and a calm, peaceful mood, then count me in!
I am experienced in working with people who have hearing or vision impairments, as well as those with additional support needs around mental health and neurodiversity.
I am also completely inclusive of all genders, identities, and lifestyles.
