Hi, I'm Lisa

Lisa was amazing, so caring from the moment we met her at our home, she listened to what we said about our loved one with empathy and compassion and helped us choose appropriate words especially with a ‘blended’ family. The day of the funeral she sought me out prior to entering reassuring us that everything was ok. And one last welcomed hug at the end of the service.

Dear Lisa Thank you so much for your kindness throughout this very difficult time. The service was so lovely Andrew would have approved and would have been smiling. Andrew wasn't a religious man and didn't like over formality. The service was a fitting send off, it summed up Andrew very well. “Lisa, We both wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you have done for us. Arranging a Celebration of Life Service for our son is the hardest thing we have ever had to do. You have walked us through it, step by step, helping us through the whole process. You spent the time to find out exactly what we wanted and to get to know us and more importantly our son. Nothing was too much for us to ask, even when you had to wait for tributes that arrived the day before. 

This meant that every part of the service was perfect for him and exactly what we wanted. Throughout the service, you took great care of us. From the hug when we arrived up to the hug when you left. You went above and beyond by wearing a Green Day T-shirt – that was just the perfect touch.

We can never thank you enough for giving him the send-off he deserved. Everyone has commented how perfect the service was for him and how lovely you were.

There are no words to express what you did for us today. You went above and beyond to make such a sad day a beautiful one. The way you spoke, cared and put it all together was perfect. Hi Lisa, I just wanted to say a huge thank you from myself, and all our family for everything you did on Thursday. It was absolutely perfect for Gary. So many people have told us how beautiful the service was. My cousin texted me last night to say she had never been to a funeral like that before and couldn’t believe how lovely it was, and how personal it felt to Gary. Even my dad said on the way home that he’d like the same one day (hopefully not for a very long time!). You really made a lasting impression on so many people. Thank you so much!

Good morning Lisa, Thank you for your guidance and support in planning dad's funeral and for leading us on the day. You were very professional and we felt we were in safe hands on such an important day, at the same time your thoughtful and caring manner helped us give dad the funeral he deserved. We both felt it was a perfect day for dad and all our family agreed and valued the service as a fitting tribute. The presentation folder is great, we all felt your words were perfect on the day but of course we didnt take it all in. Is it possible we could have a copy of the service by email so we can share it in our close family?

A big thank you to Lisa for the support and professionalism from start to finish. Having only spent an hour with Lisa talking about my mum and the questions she asked, she created an incredible story of mum's life. I’d highly recommend Lisa and the services a humanist ceremony provides.

Good Afternoon, Lisa, Just a huge thank you for the ceremony that you did for my Grandad. It was so so beautiful and so very fitting. It really did him justice and my nan was thrilled with how it went. Between the service you did and the wake after (where the food was beautiful) she was so pleased "we did him right" The feedback we had off his family and friends was also amazing. Considering funerals are a sad time, numerous people spoke of how it was the "best service" they had been to and what an in depth and wonderful tribute to his life. One of grandad’s friends (you mentioned in your service, Tom who grandad taught all about cars) became a little overwhelmed saying it wasn't like a service and more like a friend that had known him all their life speaking about him. Someone else mentioned that with traditional religious services, the person passed can almost become an afterthought with faith taking centre stage and how it with this, it was so wonderful that his final tribute was completely about him and the wonderful life he had led. Another mentioned how welcome and comforting you made everyone feel and how you managed to bring humour into his tribute which was lovely as it was so in-keeping with his character. Simply put, I could talk forever, but I will not be able to express how grateful we all are for how wonderful you were in such a difficult time for our family and what a beautiful tribute you paid grandad. Would it be possible for you to email over a copy of the service you put together in its entirety? I would like to print a copy out and send with a order of service to a friend of grandads that was not able to make it. (I am also going to put a copy in a memory book) I have copied the Funeral Directors into this email as I hope they can use the above as most glowing reference for not only a wonderful job, but also the kindness you did for our family.
