I qualified in 2025 & am a warm and friendly celebrant, with a quirky style!

It was my previous career- spanning two decades- as a nurse, which really enabled me to develop my ability to relate to people with warmth, kindness and respect.

After opting to have a humanist naming ceremony for my child, I was so inspired by the passion and dedication which went into creating such a uniquely special occasion, that I just couldn't help but feel drawn to the idea of becoming a celebrant myself. As an able writer and with my background in working so closely with people, I knew that I would have something positive to offer!

I firmly and passionately believe that every couple should be free to marry wherever they choose and have a ceremony, which reflects their own personal identity and values.

Should you choose me to be your celebrant, I will deliver your ceremony with professionalism and warmth, creating a cherished experience for you and your guests. Afterwards, you will receive a beautiful presentation copy of your script as a lasting keepsake.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
