"BEST. CELEBRANT. EVER!

It was really important to us that we had a humanist celebrant for our wedding in July 2024. Kathryn was recommended to us by our photographer, and we are so glad that we went with her - it has been a delight every step of the way 😊 When we first got in contact she was quick to set up a video call to meet us and make sure that we were all on the same vibe. She clearly explained her approach to being a celebrant and made sure we were clear on the differences between a humanist celebrant and a registrar. We got on so well and she had such great energy that we made sure to book in with her straight away!

From there we had ongoing communication via a WhatsApp chat she set up, which was super helpful, and we met in person as well. We aren't in the same part of the country so it was great that Kathryn was able to make that work! Kathryn's process made writing our vows and creating a ceremony with her really straightforward. She crafted the perfect ceremony that incorporated lots of little stories about our relationship and life together as well as a really meaningful and personalised gesture to symbolise our relationship. We decided quite late to incorporate a reading from my sister, which she included with no problems at all, and she also helped us plan out the order of things in and around the ceremony. On the day of the wedding Kathryn really helped me to calm my nerves and feel at ease. In the ceremony she brought incredible energy and warmth, and found the perfect balance of humour, joy and sincerity.

"Kathryn is, as the Irish say, some woman for one woman! From the moment we met her we just hit it off and what was supposed to be a quick 30mins meet and greet became over an hour of banter and daydreaming about our dream ceremony.

My partner and I love nothing more than to roast each other but we also wanted to create space in the ceremony for sharing how we really feel about each other. We gave Kathryn the unenviable task of trying to marry those two sides of us.
