It makes me extraordinarily happy to see couples - and their chosen people - being present in the moment and celebrating their love. I write ceremonies that are relaxed, authentic, and created with genuine care and affection. I love hearing about couples' stories and how they live and love together. Every journey is different and beautiful in its own way.
As an accredited humanist celebrant, my ceremonies are joyful, intentional, and focused on you lovely people and your unique love. Couples choosing a non-religious marriage deserve a personalised celebration that reflects their own beliefs and values. An 'insert name here' civil ceremony with a council employee just doesn't cut it!
How does it work?
We plan every detail together. I meet with you to hear all about your love story... how you met... how you fell in love. Your story is the core of your bespoke script. You can choose to have symbolic acts such as handfasting / handtying, candle lighting or tree-planting. You can have fun with geeky references, guest vows, surprises... and if you are totally smitten you'll be glad to know I am an unapologetic romantic, so if you want to go full tilt with the symbolism and the emotion I'm here for it.
