I’m Alison McIntyre and I’m a qualified Weddings Celebrant, trained and accredited by Humanists UK.
Your wedding is a celebration of you and your partner’s love for one another. Choose me as your celebrant, and together we can make the ceremony yours.
What makes a celebrant ceremony different?
Undoubtedly, the level of personalisation. Every wedding script is written from scratch and in close consultation with you. It will likely include your journey: how you met, when you fell in love, who proposed to whom, and why you are about to make deep commitments to one another. We’ll uncover what endears you to one another and find incidents to make you and your friends and family laugh (and cry!).
There are no hymns, prayers or bible-readings. Instead, you choose your vows; your symbolic rituals (often, but not exclusively, an exchange of rings) your songs, music and readings (romantic, silly, saucy, funny – as you like it!)

Why me?
I’ve always loved ceremonies and I think it is important to celebrate the key events in life (who wants to be a puritan!). I’m intensely curious about people and what makes them tick; I’m good at listening; I’m a practised writer; I love performance (see my website for more details!)
By the way, I’ve got your back no matter who you are or who you love! You can feel completely comfortable that I’ll create the wedding that reflects you as a couple.
