I'm a wedding celebrant who also happens to be a BAFTA member with over a decades experience as a writer and actor.

I've written romcoms starring Teri Hatcher, an award-nominated episode of EastEnders and multiple critically acclaimed plays, but what I really want to write and deliver is a totally unique, bespoke and joyous wedding ceremony, just for you!

If you want to ensure that your ceremony is the highlight of your big day, filled with the big feelings, laugh-out-loud and heart-touching moments that you deserve, then I would absolutely love to work with you to create a ceremony and experience that you and your guests will remember forever.

There's no limit to what we can create together. Whether it's an intimate gathering of your nearest and dearest with heart felt and personal vows, or a red carpet extravaganza with a variety of musical interludes, if it speaks to you as a couple then I want to be involved in making it a reality for you.

We can incorporate symbolic gestures as traditional as hand-fasting or as contemporary as collective tequila-shot-taking. Whatever we do, we'll make sure that it helps to tell the story of who you are as a duo and that it celebrates the momentous decision you've made to become a married couple.

Where I work

I live in South Liverpool but also have a base in London and I am more than happy to travel across the UK (and beyond!) to meet and work with brilliant couples.

Fees from...

I charge a flat fee of £1000 for my ceremonies.

This includes every aspect of our humanist wedding planning journey together, with the exception of travel outside of Merseyside/ Greater London and any necessary accommodation expenses.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.

A humanist wedding ceremony is a wonderful option to celebrate your wedding in the way you choose: without religion but with meaning, and totally true to the two of you. They are uplifting and heartwarming occasions, personal to each couple to reflect your personalities and interests, and your love story.
