Hi!. I’m Jonathan, a Humanist Wedding Celebrant based here in NI.

Whether you are planning a Wedding, Elopement or Vow renewal, I will create a warm heartfelt legal Ceremony that truly reflects you, your values and your journey together.

A Humanist Wedding Ceremony is a meaningful, personal and completely bespoke way to mark one of life’s most important moments.

With a calm, witty, professional approach and a genuine passion for storytelling I will work closely with you to craft a Ceremony that feels authentic, memorable and totally you!.

Previously, I was a Wedding Planner and had the pleasure of planning over 200 couple’s Weddings. I understand that planning not only a Wedding, but a Ceremony can be a bit daunting and let’s be honest totally overwhelming, so rest assured…….I got you!!.

One of my favourite aspects of Wedding planning was meeting my Couples and hearing their story and was always a bit gutted that I couldn’t get to tell their story, now I can!!.

At my core I am a people person and just love to connect with new people. Flying for a well known airline (think red) for over 15yrs I have many stories to tell!!! I love the craic and honestly believe that laughter is the best medicine!!.

Please don’t let the Tux fool you, I have over 40 tattoos (a bit of an obsession of mine). Travel and music are true passions, think Italy with a great playlist (from Kylie to The Smiths!)

HUMANIST CEREMONIES™ is the network of more than 550 celebrants, trained by national charity Humanists UK to a gold standard to provide memorable and meaningful humanist ceremonies to non-religious people. Operating throughout England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, we deliver authentic, tailor-made and heartfelt ceremonies for life’s key moments. They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
