Joy, laughter and tears make a wedding ceremony that everyone remembers with a smile. Love makes the world go round and a wedding is full of love that extends beyond the bride and groom/bride and bride/bridegroom and bridegroom, to everybody present.

Visiting a couple to share the planning of their ceremony is a very personal and intimate experience which helps to enable them to focus on why they want to marry each other, rather than stressing over table decorations! This meeting is key to making the ceremony unique and leads to the wedding guests sharing a real understanding of the couple's commitment, aspirations and values. Sometimes a few amusing tales as well!

A Humanist Wedding Ceremony will have gravitas and convention whilst reflecting the style and personalities of the people whose day it is, be they shy, flamboyant, quirky or traditional. Maybe a bit of all of those things!

They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
