Hi, I'm Grant

What Can You Expect From Me As Your Celebrant?

Choosing a celebrant is about much more than finding someone to stand at the front and read a script. You're inviting someone into one of the most important moments of your lives, and it's important that you find someone who feels like the right fit for you.

My role is to work alongside you to create a ceremony that feels authentic, personal and genuinely reflective of your relationship. No templates, no generic wording, and no "one size fits all" approach.

Getting to Know You

Everything starts with a relaxed conversation. This is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to tell me about your story.

How did you meet? What makes your relationship special? What have been the highs, the challenges and the moments that define you as a couple?

Many couples tell me they are worried they don't have an exciting enough story. The truth is that every couple has a story worth telling, and my job is to help uncover the details that make your relationship uniquely yours.

Creating Your Ceremony

Using everything you've shared with me, I will write a completely bespoke ceremony from scratch.

Together we'll create a ceremony that reflects your personalities, values and wishes. Whether you'd like something romantic, light-hearted, heartfelt, humorous, traditional, modern or a mixture of all of these, the ceremony will be tailored specifically to you.

We'll discuss:

The structure of the ceremony

Personal stories and memories

Vows

Ring exchanges

Readings

Music choices

Symbolic acts such as handfasting, or other rituals.

Ways to involve family and friends if you wish

You'll have the opportunity to review the ceremony and suggest any changes before the big day.

Support Along The Way

Many couples are surprised by how much support a celebrant can provide throughout the planning process.

Whether you're struggling to write your vows, unsure about ceremony timings, wondering how to include loved ones, or simply need a sounding board for ideas, I'm always happy to help.

My aim is to make the process enjoyable and as stress-free as possible.

On Your Wedding Day

On the day itself, I'll arrive in good time, liaise with your venue and any suppliers as needed, and make sure everything is ready before your guests arrive.

Most importantly, I'll deliver your ceremony with warmth, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm.

My role is to help create a relaxed atmosphere where you can focus on enjoying the moment rather than worrying about what comes next.

More Than A Ceremony

One of the things I love most about being a celebrant is getting to know the people behind the wedding.

By the time your ceremony arrives, I hope you'll feel that you're being married by someone who truly understands your story and has taken the time to tell it with care.

Every couple deserves a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful and memorable. If that's the kind of ceremony you're looking for, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
