I’d love to hear all about you and what has brought you to this exciting moment in time, whether you’re planning a wedding, a commitment ceremony or vow renewal. It will be my pleasure to listen to your stories and craft them into a ceremony that reflects the journey that you are on together.
It is all about what feels important to you and moments that reflect your culture, community and shared history. Let’s say you’d like to let off smoke canisters in rainbow colours or have a hand fasting with ribbons braided by your grandparents or a Bon Jovi singalong, my response will always be …hells yeah!
I’ll make sure the process of planning for the big day is fun and collaborative, with plenty of time to bounce around ideas and script edits and make sure you have the ceremony you’ve always dreamed of. I can also support you with vow writing and public speaking.
I’m recently qualified as a humanist celebrant but come with 20 years experience of performing and writing shows. Fun fact - I used to be in the circus! I was drawn to being a celebrant for the opportunity to use these skills for good and to create shared moments of joy in community.
I strongly believe in active inclusion and equity. I have a brother with severe learning disabilities and I have worked a lot with people with additional needs, as a workshop leader and support worker. I am also part of the queer community. I can bring this way of thinking to support you, whatever your needs, and ensure your ceremony caters for all of your loved ones.
