NOT JUST FOR BABIES!

A naming ceremony often marks the birth of a baby, but they can also be held in conjunction with a first birthday, to celebrate an adoption at any age, to welcome much-loved stepchildren into a blended family, to acknowledge the unity of a family from different faith backgrounds, or even to mark coming-of-age for young adults. For transgender adults, a re-naming ceremony can be a joyful and meaningful way to celebrate the next chapter in your life and identity, in the presence of those you love.

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and are created, moulded, shaped and renewed in so many ways. A humanist naming ceremony gives you the opportunity to celebrate in a way that’s unique and personal to you. I’d love to discuss your ideas with you!
