About me
I found the experience of having my own Humanist civil partnership ceremony a few years ago such a warm and positive one that I trained as a wedding and civil partnership* celebrant myself and now work with other couples to create a celebration that is unique, meaningful and memorable.
I have two grown up daughters and have spent much of my career in further and higher education, including as an Educational Psychologist in local government. I am committed to diversity and social justice and care strongly about the environment and the natural world, something reflected in my long-standing activism in support of climate justice.
What I can offer
Using my skills and knowledge I will work with you to create a very special and highly personal non-religious civil partnership or wedding ceremony, or renewal of vows, which tells your story as a couple and which is true to your values and interests. You may be planning a nature-focussed or eco-conscious ceremony; it may be that you want to give a role in your ceremony to key people in your life, or to animals or objects that mean a lot to you. Almost anything is possible!

* Civil Partnerships are available to both same and different sex couples and offer similar benefits to marriage but to legal 'partners' rather than to husbands and wives. This greater equality appeals to many people.
