First things first, congratulations on your engagement!

My name is David, and I’m a humanist celebrant offering weddings and vow renewals throughout London and the surrounding area. I specialise in crafting meaningful, personal and joyful ceremonies that put you at the heart of the action, and it would be my honour to help bring your vision to life and create a day no one will forget.

What I offer

One of the best things about a humanist wedding is that there is no template. Whether you want to stage something traditional that will put a smile on Auntie Margaret’s face, or burn the script and dazzle everyone, anything is possible. The only limitation really is your own imagination, but having gone through the process myself in 2023, I know only too well how overwhelming that can be. 

That’s where I step in. 

Maybe you already have a rough idea of how the day will play out, or perhaps you’re staring at a blank page. Wherever you are in the process, together we’ll unearth what’s important to you and your guests, and build a ceremony that everyone can feel part of. I'll guide you through the possibilities and make suggestions or offer advice where appropriate, until together we create the perfect ceremony that could only ever be yours.

Where I work

I conduct ceremonies throughout Greater London and the South East, but am most conveniently located for Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth and Greenwich. Always happy to consider venues further afield too!

Fees from...

My flat fee is £750, which includes as many planning meetings and script revisions as are necessary, a rehearsal before the big day, and delivery of the ceremony. Additional travel & accommodation costs may apply for venues outside London, but your final price will always be confirmed before any work begins, so there will be no surprises

Operating throughout England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, we deliver authentic, tailor-made and heartfelt ceremonies for life’s key moments. They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
