Hi, I'm Claire
What would it be like having me as your celebrant?
My ceremonies are a reflection of you and your story, but more specifically, I’ll be right for you if you’d like your wedding ceremony to be light, joyful, full of laughter and effortlessly elegant. All my ceremonies are a unique mix of the heartfelt and the fun and a real sense of connection.
I'm a Humanist celebrant, which means I conduct secular, non-religious ceremonies, but I am passionate that removing the religious aspects of your wedding ceremony shouldn't mean that you lose a sense of the extraordinary or the profound in your ceremony.
So, when it comes to writing and conducting your wedding ceremony, you can relax knowing that there are no 'cut and paste' aspects to your ceremony and you can have as much or as little tradition as you want! Your ceremony is designed specifically to fit you and your guests, and nobody else.
Your ceremony sets the vibe you want for the rest of your day and I'm here to help you do that. Whether you envision a small, intimate gathering or a lively, grand affair, I am here to make your ceremony a joyous occasion where every guest feels included and is, above all, full of warmth.
I’m not just there for the ceremony
For many couples, planning a wedding can be a fun but stressful process, and I absolutely get that. That’s why my job is not only to create a ceremony that you and your guests love, but that the steps along the way are as easy and enjoyable as possible. In fact, many couples have told me that the process of working with me in planning the ceremony has been fun, calming and reassuring, and that’s exactly what I aim for.
Whatever your background or identity, my goal is to make your ceremony reflect all the amazing things about you. If you have any specific concerns about your day, I am here to make sure that these are thoughtfully considered so you can relax and be fully present on the day.
What do I love about being a celebrant?
Whether you want something a little unconventional and out of the box, or a traditional ceremony but with some special touches and elements, creating a ceremony that fits you perfectly is what gets my heart beating. There is no better feeling than leaving a ceremony and having your guests tell me: 'That was the best ceremony I've ever been to!'
We can't put into words how wonderful yesterday was. Everyone said that your ceremony was so personal and so beautifully done.
We are so grateful to have found you, as we realised no one could have done it better.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
— Caroline and Chris
Since we have been back in Australia, life has been a whirlwind, but I just wanted to write an email to say thank you so much for being an invaluable part of our wedding. You made our ceremony so special and personal to us which is an incredible talent given that we had only met once before!
The ceremony script was beautiful, tied in key events in such a clever way and really felt like it reflected us as a couple rather than a generic ceremony. It was so nice to be able to share that story with all of our nearest and dearest. We are so grateful we wrote our own vows in the end, so thank you for your help and guidance with that as they will be cherished for years to come and the printed vows and script you left for us are beautiful.
We honestly could not be happier with how the day went so thank you. I am still grinning from ear to ear thinking about it!

Having Claire as our wedding celebrant was absolutely one of the best things we did for our wedding. She is a gorgeous person inside and out, and she made the day feel even more loving and magical.
From the very first conversation we had, Claire was warm and welcoming, and full of enthusiasm and excitement to hear about our story and our wedding. You can just tell that Claire loves love, and that makes her ceremonies even more special.
She spent time really getting to know us and our story, and that led to her crafting the most beautiful ceremony, which had most of our guests in tears (happy of course!) In fact, two couples we know have decided to go for celebrant led ceremonies for their upcoming weddings as a result of how incredible and personal Claire made our ceremony feel.
More than just the ceremony though, Claire was on hand all the way through the planning process offering us tips and handy bits of advice. She helped us to pick the most perfect readings for the day, and was even on hand in the morning of the wedding helping out and giving advice e.g. where the best man should stand!
Our day wouldn't have been the same without Claire, she was absolutely incredible.
— Meg and Patrick
After finding Claire online and our initial communications we knew that she would be the right celebrant for our wedding day. Claire is kind, warm, detail oriented and took so much time to get to know us as a couple. We felt this aura even through a computer screen as we organised from across the other side of the world! No changes were too big as we went through the drafting process and her suggestions really helped us when it came to writing our vows. Most importantly to us a same sex couple, she is inclusive and celebrates love in all forms. We really felt this, and it was a sigh of relief to see her genuinely advocate this on her Instagram feed rather than a disingenuous supplier going through the motions.
All of our guests commented on Claire’s personalised ceremony script and noted that it represented us perfectly. Many said it was the best wedding they had ever heard, & the most fabulously dressed celebrant they had ever seen!
We can’t thank you enough Claire, and we are overjoyed that you played a part in our journey!
— Natasha and Kerry
When looking for a celebrant, we had a video call with Claire and clicked with her energy immediately. She was the perfect fit to tell our story to our friends and family. She got our humour, took note of all the right details and managed to weave it into a lovely story, fit for the very literary and bookish couple that we are! Claire went above and beyond with our anniversary wine box ritual, ensured that our vows complimented each other and made the ceremony a moment to remember, which our guests absolutely adored.
Thank you for being such a special part of our day, we'll treasure it forever!
