Hi, I'm Cathy
I conduct ceremonies in Yorkshire (and sometimes beyond).
After a wedding, I am so often approached by guests who tell me how personal and moving they found the experience. They had been expecting "just another" ceremony and are often surprised and touched to be a part of something which really speaks to them about the couple and about what this marriage means to them. They feel a part of something true.
Your ceremony doesn't have to be the "bit before the fun starts" - it can actually be bursting with sincerity and a genuine reflection of you and your relationship. If you don't know exactly what you want, I am here to listen and to put your personalities at the very heart of it all. It could be that you want to marry in a quiet, understated and beautiful way or it may be you dream of making big, grand entrances and involving all of your guests in roof-raising affirmations. You may want your Grandad to read a poem in French, or to bring your dogs along, or have paper aeroplanes instead of confetti - all of these (and much more) are possible. We won't know until we sit down to chat and begin to put it all together.
I will guide, advise, offer suggestions and examples of rituals you could include. And then I will craft and deliver a bespoke ceremony that puts a beating heart at the start of your wedding day.
