Thank you for visiting my profile page.
Are you planning a funeral or memorial event, following the death of a loved one? Or anticipating this task, and wanting to look into all the different options?
Are you looking for a meaningful alternative to a religious ceremony, and wanting the emphasis to be on remembering, and celebrating, the unique life of the person who's died?
There's no requirement in law to have a celebrant at a funeral, but many people find it helps to have someone to provide a structure, to advise on music and readings if needed, to put all the contributions together, and then to steer the ceremony on the day.
I have six years' experience of working with local families to prepare, and to deliver, tailormade funerals and memorial ceremonies. I believe that my background in working with children and families for various local authorities has given me relevant skills of listening, empathy and a determination to support people through the most difficult of times.
I'm proud to have been trained and accredited by Humanists UK, and to be part of a supportive local network of celebrants.
Please visit my website or contact me by phone, text or e mail if you'd like to find out more; I look forward to your call!
