If you’re looking at this page, then it’s possible that you’ve suffered a recent bereavement.
Whether it’s expected or not this always means a period of change, stress and unfortunately much to get organised at what will feel like the worst possible time.
My role is to take at least a little bit of that pressure from you.
As a Humanist funeral celebrant, I would ensure that your loved one receives an individual and bespoke ceremony, be it a burial, cremation or memorial.
This would be a non-religious occasion to both mourn, but also celebrate a life, making it their day.
A little about my background.
I am from Essex originally and spent most of my working life frontline in the NHS, in London.
Being a good listener and being empathetic are both key skills I used there, which I draw on in my role today.
I now live in Lincolnshire, not far from Boston.
Should you choose me as celebrant we can meet either online or in person at a mutually convenient time and place, to discuss what it is you need from a ceremony. It’s tone, content & so on.
Working together, I can then craft the ceremony you want.
This will portray the person who has died and to tell their life story in the way they would have wanted it to be told.
By liaising closely with both you and your Funeral Director, we can ensure a seamless and professional ceremony is delivered on the day.
Being able to talk about someone’s life, to reflect on it and pay tribute to them at its end in a dignified and meaningful way, is both an honour and a privilege.
Allow me to help you.
