It's lovely to meet you - and congrats on tying the knot!
My name’s Billie. I’m originally from the Wirral peninsula (AKA, the Oblong of Dreams), but now live in Manchester.
When I'm not conducting wedding ceremonies, I’m a professional playwright and screenwriter. I make my living telling stories that are moving, funny and memorable, and as a celebrant I’m here to help tell your story in a way that feels unique to you.
My favourite thing about Humanist Ceremonies is that they are so bespoke.
Every couple is different, and so is every ceremony. It can be as traditional or unconventional as you like. We might include readings, vows, symbolic actions, cultural traditions or (non-cringe, totally consensual) audience participation. Whether you already know what you want your ceremony to look like, or you have absolutely no idea, we can work together to create something meaningful, personal, and unforgettable.
I’m queer and trans inclusive and am keen to discuss how we can make your ceremony as accessible and welcoming as possible.
It’s no small thing, declaring your love in front of the people who matter most. It’s my job to make sure things go smoothly so you can focus on being together and enjoying the day.
I would be chuffed to be part of your celebrations!
If you think I might be a good fit, drop me a message and we can have a free, no-pressure-to-commit virtual brew to chat in more detail.
