Hi I'm Ben Norris, I am a wedding celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK, I am also a highly experienced professional stand-up comedian. You may have seen me appear on TV shows such as 'Mock The Week' and 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'.

I create and conduct personalised non-religious weddings and vow renewal ceremonies that truly reflect the unique love story of each couple.

What I offer

I work closely with couples to craft bespoke humanist wedding ceremonies that celebrate your relationship and commitment to each other, and tell your love story. Each humanist wedding is unique, authentic and deeply meaningful, to reflect you as a couple and your personalities and interests. You can incorporate any personal elements you choose, including readings, music, singing, and rituals - to make the day uniquely yours.

I have been performing comedy for over three decades and have done shows all over the world as well as hosting numerous high profile corporate events and since adding celebrancy to my skill set I aim to bring that abundant experience to bare in your wedding ceremony. I aim to work with you both to bring a light and relaxed performers touch to your 'oh so special' day. I can help take your love story and make it heartfelt, personal and amusing. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
