If you are looking at this page, you may be thinking about choosing a celebrant for your loved one's funeral, at what might be the hardest of moments. If I can help you in any way, it would be a pleasure to chat with you about what thoughts and questions you have about the ceremony you are planning. I am a funeral celebrant, trained and accredited by Humanists UK, and it would be my honour to help you navigate your way through this process. As a celebrant, I arrange a time to meet with you, to listen and to learn from you, all about your loved one. I then begin to write a unique ceremony for the unique person that you have introduced me to. When a first draft is ready, I work with you to make any final tweaks, until you feel that it is just right. Then on the day, I will be there to support you and deliver the ceremony.
Helping someone to honour their loved one, in a way that feels perfectly 'them', is something that I genuinely love to do. I love to hear the stories, the funny moments and the beautiful details that made their life so unique, and to weave those threads into a ceremony that reflects their values and qualities, and hopefully brings some smiles too.
I have had a long career as an actor and combine that with commissioned work as an artist, as well as being a parent-advocate for deaf children - and I'm a lover of a good pub quiz.
