With 20 years of experience as a journalist and interviewer, I know how to turn real love stories into unforgettable ceremonies. Warm, relaxed and completely personal, my weddings are full of laughter and meaning.
Your ceremony should not be the formal bit everyone politely sits through before the drinks begin. It should feel like one of the best parts of the day: full of the stories your guests will love, the details they never knew, the private jokes, unlikely beginnings and all the reasons you have chosen each other.
I’m a former newspaper journalist and Digital Content Director at woman&home. For more than 20 years, I have interviewed people, found the details that bring their stories alive and shaped them into something other people genuinely want to hear.
That experience is extremely useful at a wedding. I know how to ask good questions, listen closely, and turn all the fragments you share with me into a ceremony with warmth, pace, humour and feeling.
There are no templates, recycled lines or solemn “wedding voice”. Every ceremony begins with a blank page and is written entirely around you.
Since training with Humanists UK, I’ve led more than 30 ceremonies under ancient trees, in town halls, gardens, pubs, and everywhere in between - for small groups and crowds of 200+. I can help with vows, readings, music, family contributions and symbolic rituals, while making sure the finished ceremony still feels natural and unmistakably like you.
If you’re looking for a celebrant who’s calm, creative, and completely committed to making your day feel unforgettable – I’d love to chat.
