If you have found your way here, it is likely you are just starting out on your wedding journey and I am so happy you are considering a humanist wedding. From my own, recent experience of getting married, knowing where to start can be daunting so, please allow me to assist you in taking one of the first steps- reaching out to a celebrant!

So, a bit about me, first. I'm a sucker for love stories, an old romantic, I'm obsessed with watching people fall in love and if I could live permanently inside a rom-com, I would. 

​As a full-time primary school teacher, I realised I needed to pursue a career as a wedding celebrant when I found, and fell in love with, my teaching assistant, Mr. Adam! I am now a mum and step-mum to three teenage boys and I am newly married to a man I waited a long time to find. 

Discovering that 'happily ever after' did exist made me realise that life is short, and I embarked on this career path; one that would help me escape the stresses of teaching, surround me with love and happiness and allow me to meet many wonderful couples!

In my role as a humanist wedding celebrant, I am here to create a wedding ceremony that is completely personal to you. I will begin with a blank page and write in a way that represents your lives and your journey to this point in your love adventure, celebrating you both as a couple... I basically have the best job in the world!

What can I say… Amy absolutely made our wedding ceremony. Reading our script for the first time was so emotional and entertaining! Amy summed our story up perfectly and it was the perfect balance of heartfelt and funny- just what we wanted. Throughout the processs, Amy made it her priority to get to know both myself and partner, asking us questions and creating the most beautiful and personal reading for our ceremony. Amy really put us both at ease, answering our questions and giving us advice about all things wedding in the months and weeks leading up to our day.

The day before, Amy ran through the ceremony with us and was there every step of the way. Having worked as a celebrant myself, I've attended and officiated at a LOT of events. Amy did the best job at a wedding that I've ever witnessed. She was brilliant! I mainly take weddings in and around the South West- Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire....but I am willing to travel so please just ask!
