I’m Alex, a Humanists UK–accredited celebrant based in North Wales, creating authentic, love-filled ceremonies for couples who want something relaxed, warm, and sprinkled with a sense of adventure.
I work across Eryri/Snowdonia, Anglesey and the wider Welsh landscape, and I’m always ready to travel further if your plans take you somewhere wild and wonderful.
For me, being a celebrant is all about connection. I take the time to get to know you properly: how you met, what you love about each other, the quirks, the laughter, the memories that shape your story.
My ceremonies feel relaxed, fun and completely free of pressure. I create an atmosphere where you can breathe, be present and genuinely enjoy the moment. I guide you through everything with calm confidence so you never feel on show or unsure of what’s happening.
While many of my ceremonies take place outdoors, I’m equally at home in barns, courtyards, modern venues and intimate indoor spaces.
Over the years I’ve had the joy of working at beautiful locations such as Hafod Farm, Henblas Country Park, Ty Fry Manor, Plas Maenan, Caer Rhun Hall, Deganwy Quay, Llyn Gwynant Barns, Talybont Uchaf Farm, Bryn Llys and Talhenbont Hall — to name just a few.
If you’re dreaming of something a little more intimate, I also specialise in elopements. Having lived in North Wales for over 15 years, I know the hidden corners, quiet viewpoints and breathtaking landscapes that make for an unforgettable elopement experience, and I’m always happy to recommend locations that suit your vision.
And if your heart is pulling you even further afield to Scotland, the Dolomites, Iceland or anywhere else that feels like an adventure, I’m right there with you.
