Our Assemblies for All website gives teachers free access to a fantastic range of carefully selected, high quality, inclusive assemblies, with material from a wide variety of providers brought together on one easy-to-use platform. We’re looking for a volunteer researcher to help maintain and develop the site’s content, by seeking out new providers and finding suitable new assemblies to include.
The role would suit someone who has good administrative, research, and IT skills. Some knowledge of schools, or of the education world more broadly, would be an advantage – but an eye for inclusive and engaging content is more important. The research can be carried out either in a short, focused block of time, or as a regular activity over a longer period (e.g. a number of hours weekly or monthly). It is flexible and can be scheduled around other commitments.
This research role offers a great opportunity to help develop and shape a growing resource that is increasingly valued by teachers.
You can find out more in the information pack. To apply, please email education@humanists.uk telling us why you’re interested in the role and what you would bring to it. If you have any questions, contact the Education Development Manager, Maggie Goodall, via maggie@humanists.uk – she’ll be happy to talk about the role with you. Thank you for your interest. We’ll look forward to hearing from you!
