Andrew Copson, the Chief Executive of Humanists UK, visits the University of Nottingham to talk about the relevance of humanism in the modern world. Andrew is a renowned public speaker and has represented humanism extensively on TV and radio, as well as writing widely on the topic in books, journals and the national press.
Andrew will share his humanist world view and explain how this informs life choices, and what constitutes a 'life well lived'. The talk will be followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions on issues covered or the humanist world view in general.
Please note, this is an external event organised by the University of Nottingham's chaplaincy service. It is open to students, staff and the wider public. Members of the Nottingham Humanist Local Group will be in attendence. If you cannot make it in person, the event will also be streamed.
