**LGBT Humanists has been at the forefront of campaigns for LGBT rights, standing tall against religious homophobia, since 1979.** Today as part of Humanists UK we are leading work in the UK for a ban on gay conversion therapy and to resist the demands of homophobic protesters who want to erase LGBT people from the curriculum and from our schools.
