# In prisons

If you are a humanist in prison you have the legal right to a humanist pastoral support visitor in the same way that a religious prisoner has the legal right to see a chaplain of their religion.

We have a limited number of men and women trained as humanist pastoral support volunteers and we are in the process of training more. If you know of a humanist in prison who wants this support, please do get in touch by email at <pastoralsupport@humanists.uk> or ask the prisoner to contact us by post to ‘Humanists UK, 39 Moreland Street, London EC1V 8BB’ and we will try to help.
