Swansea Bay Humanists present: The People’s Emergency Briefing

19 November 2026, 18:30 -- 21:00

Swansea Bay Humanists are hosting a free screening of The People's Emergency Briefing. The film follows the November 2025 National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster for politicians and decision makers. Leading scientists and experts present evidence on the impact of climate and nature breakdown on health, food systems, national security and the economy. That evidence is now on the public record. The next step is to take this vital message across the UK in the form of the People's Emergency Briefing film. The aim is to bring together people from across local communities to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond.

If you care about your children, soaring temperatures, air pollution and the environment, then you might want to watch this. What can you do to help?

Following the film there will be a discussion including Deputy First Minister Sioned Williams MS, Brian Jones CND/Friends of the Earth and Dave Mortlock who has carried out numerous research missions at Oxford University as well in France and has lectured at The Queen's University of Belfast for 10 years.
